Day 79: The framing effort today concentrated on finishing the gable roof
that runs front to back over the addition and the old kitchen and living room.
Work also started on replacing the existing roof. The plywood used back in
1968 was only 3/8" thick and was very spongy to walk on. We decided that it
was worth the extra $2k to replace all the plywood with 5/8" brown Advantech.
That effort started today. |
