Day 293: On Feb 15th (and 14th and 16th) of the home improvement project
the messy and time consuming job of removing drywall dust was done. I
didn't know what I was getting into. First I vacuumed everywhere in the
basement thinking that would get the bulk of it. I thought a simple rinse
of the floor would do it. No way. I had to scrub, wipe up, and rinse
the whole floor on my knees; hours of work. Now our shoes don't get
instantly coated with drywall dust when we walk in the basement. I'm
guessing the floor has never been this clean in the 39 years that we
have lived here. Next is to clean up after the monster snow storm. |
