Today I mostly finished the task of removing the obsolete walkway that I started
last Saturday. Interesting that it took twice as long to clean up as to do the
initial demolition. First I used a wedge and sledge hammer to cut an edge where
the walkway started. I needed a clean edge to separate the walkway from the driveway.
Then I took the seats out of the minivan, put in a tarp to protect the floor, and
loaded the asphalt. I made two runs to the Nashua landfill, but ran out of time to
do the final run. The van is all loaded and I'll take it to the landfill tomorrow
afternoon. This has been another busy day of the post construction to do list. |
